As Sevenoaks Symphony Orchestra Secretary, Anne keeps records of committee meetings, and handles correspondence with other organizations, such as the venues we use for concerts and for rehearsals.

Our Treasurer keeps a record of all financial transactions, such as payments for the hire of venues and orchestral parts. and receipts (membership subscriptions, season ticket purchases and donations). The treasurer also advises the committee when discussions of a financial nature take place (such as expenditure, ticket prices, subs, etc).

Our Librarian organises the music we play from. Sets of orchestral parts are generally hired, or, in a few cases, borrowed. David's toughest job is getting parts back after each concert: please help by ensuring you to bring the music to the concert, or returning it beforehand if you are not playing in a concert.

Darrell has been conducting Sevenoaks Symphony Orchestra for more than forty years, and plays a major role in putting together our concert programmes and engaging our soloists, He also calls in professional players for concerts where we cannot meet a need from our membership (typically some brass players, percussionists).

Responsible for ensuring that stage arrangements on concert days are as needed (seating, stands, lighting, etc).
